The Student's STOP Page

The Southern Aroostook Tobacco-Free Outreach Program is a coalition of a bunch of adults and one student, ME!!!! The purpose of STOP is to spend lots of money on the prevention and cessation of tobacco. ANother of our goals is the big meany, second-hand smoke. We do an excellent job if I do say so myself! We meet once a month at the Houlton Regional Hospital at 3:00. We are funded through Partnership for a Tobacco-Free Maine (PTM) and cover more than 36 communites. The school districts served are MSAD#70 (Hodgdon), MSAD#29 (Houlton), MSAD#25 (Sherman Station), MSAD#14 (Danforth), and CSAD#9 (Dyer Brook). Aroostook, Penobscot, and Washington Counties is where the schools are located. A calendar of upcoming events is on it's way just as soon as I have time. You can find all of our accomplishments and future projects under the Projects Page.

I will update this page after each meeting and the minutes to the last meeting can be found under the current news link. The old meetings I will get archived on the old news link soon.

Please sign the guest book or email me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
